It was a Styles-only selection on this sunny Friday in Melbourne. DJ Deckstream's new album Soundtracks is recommended and features some serious guest MCs including Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli and Camp Lo. Little Brother's new album has dropped, and Phonte continues to demonstrate why he is one of my favourite MCs around. His singing is great too, actually better than some of the specialist singers who guest on the album. Great to see Alison Crockett and Bugge Wesseltoft back with strong new albums as well. In amongst it all I was also able to slip in some deep jazz cuts, some abstract hip hop instrumentals and some techier pieces.

Stylin broadcasts live each Friday on Australia's best known community station, 3RRR-FM Melbourne.
