At last a visit to Stylin from Melbourne funkiest organ trio, Cookin on 3 Burners, after Stylin first premiered their Gravel Rash 45 back in 2002. We were treated to live in the studio versions of three instrumentals from their album Baked, Broiled and Fried. Look out for it on Knowfoowl in Australia and Freestyle everywhere else. And props to Kylie Auldist who sings on the album - she has now signed to Tru Thoughts as a solo artist and is now recording her album with CO3B/Bamboos guitarist Lance Ferguson aka Lanu. Time for Kylie Minogue to start using her surname again.

Also check out: strong NZ hip hop from Scribe setting of a string of hip hop (and related) tunes to start the show, wonderful jazz rediscoveries with Mike Taylor Remembered and Life Force, and Opolopo releases a collection of his tunes in Japan, with many of the old Stylin favourites finally getting their first official release.

Stylin broadcasts live each Friday on Australia's best known community station, 3RRR-FM Melbourne.
