As we come to the end of March, it feels like 2007's releases are really in full swing now. Lots of new treats across the full Stylin spectrum. Respins for two of my favourite soul tunes of the year to date by the Bamboos feat Kylie Auldist and Joss Stone (produced by Raphael Saadiq). Techno fans should look out for one of the best EPs yet by Canada's Basic Soul Unit, forthcoming on Mathematics. Also look out for a new project from Dutch producer Jay Soul. His hip hop and soul productions have long been Stylin favourites, but as Mr Windmill & Jay Soul he expands into more broken and electronic forms (myspace.com/mrwindmillfunk).

Stylin broadcasts live each Friday on Australia's best known community station, 3RRR-FM Melbourne.
