Back with lots of new and unreleased cuts for the 07. New album tips are the Belle et Fou soundtrack with lots of great new Jazzanova tunes, and the excellent DJ Day 'Got to Get it Right' EP on Melting Pot, for fans of the Mizell Brothers and the moody hip hop instrumental. Three of my favourite Melbourne producers also come through with fresh pieces: Soul Mirage (Simon Gorman), Lanu and DJ Ransom. Curiosities include the Japanese album containing nothing but versions of Happy Birthday (I played a great bossa version for Sabine) and Scott Feiner's 'Pandeiro Jazz' album with jazz standards played on only saxophone, guitar and pandeiro (sort-of a Brasilian tambourine).

Stylin Loves 2006 is still online for anyone who missed out.

Stylin broadcasts live each Friday on Australia's best known community station, 3RRR-FM Melbourne.
