Info

I recently had the pleasure of playing at the ace Hello My Name Is.. club night in Southampton which is co-run by Stu Clark who is also one of the guys behind the Wolf Music Label. Their latest EP features The Revenge, Eddie C, KRL and Be and is currently in the Juno top 3 bestsellers list so I think it’s safe to say that there’s a considerable bit of interest in their label.

Stu played an amazing warm up set that night in Southampton – a fantastic selection that was expertly mixed and I felt that I played better than normal that night as I had a lot to live up to! It turns out that Stu recorded his set (and mine which may see the light of day sometime next year) so I immediately bagged it for the Smuggler Inn. It’s hard to believe that this is a live recording as it flows effortlessly and is super tight.

Elsewhere on the show there’s plenty of new stuff from Funkineven, amazing remixes of Space by AN2 and Architeq, Toby Tobias remixing a very well known soul track, new house pressure from Leif, super hot new techno from the mysterious See The Road crew, something from the forthcoming new Lerosa Ep on Uzuri and a new techno ish track by me.
