The Australian sounds continue to come on strong. I opened the show with three new Aussie funk tunes, closed with Shamblz' Oz-only picks and dropped some deep techno from Microworld in the middle. Admittedly, the Shamblz selections did include a US guest-MC and few expat Kiwis, but it'd be un-Australian not to claim talented New Zealanders as our own. Sam Counihan aka Shamblz was also repping The Producers Conference happening next week at Miss Libertine, check www.theproducersconference.com for details.

Other special mentions: fans of the Neil Cowley Trio should dig Avishai Cohen, couple of shmoove dubstep cuts from Mala and Silkie, hip dubstepper Martyn remixes the new Ican single but I love the latin techno original ,and Moonstarr's long-awaited new album drops very soon!

Stylin broadcasts live each Friday on Australia's best known community station, 3RRR-FM Melbourne.
