Lots of Australian music this show, opening with some hip hop and M-Phazes anthemic beat for Skyzoo. Then we had new Muph & Plutonic followed by two vintage Plutonic Lab-associated tunes. Later in the show we had two cuts from Bennson's forthcoming 'Let the Love' album, including the bonus cut that will be on the Japanese release. Indelible from Brisbane comes through with a superb vocal cut, but still keeping the head-nod factor. Also from Brisbane we had Golden Sound, music passed to me when I played up there with percussionist (multi-instrumentalist in fact) Peter Golikov at Alhambra Lounge. Shouts to Trent, Edseven and Paprika who also made sure it was a great night.

For the online music heads, check out the website of saxophonist Teodross Avery for free downloads of nearly 20 classic hip hop tracks with Teo and friends blowing over the top. Also check the excellent UniverSOUL blog for an interview with Robin Hannibal (of Owusu & Hannibal and Boom Clap Bachelors) as well as his Noelle Scaggs and Non+ productions from the show.

Stylin broadcasts live each Friday on Australia's best known community station, 3RRR-FM Melbourne.
