STYLIN 348

Dean Zhou drops in from Singapore to give us the updates on his group Cosa Nostra, his website danceandsoul.com and the recent Worldwide Festival put on by Gilles Peterson.

A few tunes deserve special mentions too. The first half hour of the show was all about the jazz. Check out great Japanese jazz from Hajime Yoshizawa and Super*Stars plus new underground US releases from Bryan Beninghove, Teodross Avery and Corey Wilkes. The Connecticut tune is another Fulgeance production and is off the hook. It's not out yet, but don't sleep on the dope Fidelity EP which is in stores. Also Dyno from Belgium comes through more more quality for the beatheads. Finally, Tresor have re-released an expanded version of 1992's X-102 album from Detroit techno dons Mad Mike, Jeff Mills and Robert Hood, with some great unreleased tracks.

Stylin broadcasts live each Friday on Australia's best known community station, 3RRR-FM Melbourne.
