This week: Finally got my hands on the Chico Hamilton 'El Toro' Mark de Clive-Lowe Remix (from Impulsive! Impulse! Remixed) - Heavy! A beautiful example of a remix that pays ultimate respect to the original (and you can't be half-steppin' with the Impulse! catalogue.) while still pushing it into the future. More on the jazz tip coming from Soil & Pimp Sessions (DVD 'Live In London' out this month) and Orgatronics with a great new version of Wayne Shorter's classic 'Footprints' from their new long player 'Moonfruit' (One Note Records). Also this week: Brand new bruk business from Likwid Biskit, Champion Soul, Domu (New album 'Return Of The Rogue' = Essential!) and a nice Angie Stone remix.

Next fortnight: An interview with DJ Huwston (Sydney) whose new label Knowfoowl records is causing quite a stir internationally.
